Hire Smart: Benefits of conducting Post-Offer Employee Testing

At Cynergy Physical Therapy we offer WORKSteps employee functional testing as a legally defensible method of testing to see if the employee can in fact safely perform the essential functions of the job that they have been offered. While a candidate may look great on paper an during interview, how can you be sure that they in fact are physically capable of doing the job? With WORKSteps functional testing this can be accoplished by first conducting a jobsite analysis to validate the essential functions of that job and then designing a test to determine if your new hire is capable of safely performing those essential functions. This testing helps you, the employer, in the following ways:

Once established, candidates it the post-offer status are sent to our clinic for WORKSteps testing and will receive a "Capable" or "Not Capable" determination based on their performance on the test. The test results are sent to the employer in a timely manner and are maintained on the WORKSteps data base.
